I drew “Inner Sight” as a meditation on the “Spiritual Sight” theme. She is composed and calm as she looks inward for the strength God requires of her. Is she the Madonna? Perhaps. Or perhaps a contemporary African woman without enough food to feed her family. Or perhaps she is simply one of us women who finds solace from our burdens in quiet, inner communion with God. She is clothed and haloed to reference the iconic in her spirit.

A case could also be made for it to fit into the category of “For She is the Breadth of the Power of God”. I see her as a very quietly powerful woman, centered in faith.
