Artist Statement: I love the history and timelessness of labyrinths. A labyrinth offers a time for contemplation, prayer, and silently opening a space for God within us. Some labyrinths are walkable. This example is a finger labyrinth. Bio: Pearl Squires has been a quilter for over 40 years. She especially enjoys the opportunity to transform symbols of faith into fabric representations. |
