Cosmic Christ
The painting of water color on water handmade sheet gives a
symbolic message of COSMIC CHRIST. The crown of thorns is a universal
symbol of suffering. Thorns symbolize the corrupt and disordered nature of
the human being. The Cosmos (God’s Creation) has been disordered by the
corrupt human nature and the evil activities. When thorns are placed by
force as a crown to Jesus, the blood of Jesus is shed on it which means to
say that the corrupt and disordered nature of the human being is cleansed
and changed in to an orderly and just form. Not only the human nature but also
the whole Cosmos.
