This icon of the Archangel Michael was written for St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Brattleboro, Vermont. He cradles the church in his left arm (the current and original buildings), while in his right he holds a banner proclaiming “Holy, Holy, Holy.”

The light of Christ streams from the open church door.
