The photo for this painting was shot at 6:30 a.m. on the day of the first frost in New Hampshire. Ice crystals were on the last roses, and the birches were resplendent in their glory... a day in my memory reminding me of Genesis and the power of creation, the changing seasons, and the synergy of being in that place on that day.
