Mary Magdalene, passionately devoted to Jesus, understood the way to personal transformation and self-transcendence which he taught and lived out in his life, death, and resurrection. On Easter morning, surrounded by the grandeur of God, she stands in a mystical garden, one with her beloved. If you look closely with the eyes of your heart, you can see his face in hers.
