Acrylics/Collage
The process of creating art has been my prayer form for almost 10 years
now. I started with watercolor, but have moved more into acrylics, and I
enjoy the collage process as well. Tearing paper, moving paint around,
and gluing the paper into place my speaks much of my own life, as well as a
large number of my friends. Working with mandalas, collage, and
SoulCollage® has taught me a new way to hear Spirit speak into my life.
I’ve enjoyed working to music and chant in the past, so this call for
entries especially intrigued me and blessed me. It was a wonderful
experience. The chant, the music, and the process help me hear the Holy
One, and I’m better able to express my prayers.
