Eucharist
Photograph

To me, the Eucharist, served every Sunday, is the part of the church liturgy that is the glue that holds us together.  We meet each Sunday, for me on the coast of Maine, in a small yellow New England church tucked in a small town.    There is so much is much that we receive from this weekly gathering.  Our lives are diverse and busy so we may see these people only once a week.  But the help with details, both large and small, of our everyday lives can be immeasurable.  And, yes, like me, find a wonderful retired lobsterman who wants a new life of gardens and landscaping.  This is a network that continually weaves in an out of our lives.
