Urban parks provide an
oasis of nature and tranquility in the hustle and bustle of
modern city life. Our support of these resources, through
taxation and volunteer efforts, give us space to share
peaceful time with family and diverse peoples also enjoying
this setting.
We see in this photo a
father who has taken time out of his hectic life to row the
children around the lake and enjoy this beautiful day. We see
other families and individuals with, we can imagine, similar
stories.
Ubuntu, living as an interconnected community, is expressed by
taking the time to enjoy nature with others, supporting public
officials who maintain urban parks for us, and volunteering to
do our part. |
