From The Rev. Paul Fromberg

The image above captures the tension between hope, love, struggle and determination. The mother’s face shows concern and hope, holding her child close to her while attending to the action outside the frame. They share intimacy and tenderness: the child grasps the mother’s finger while he watches the unseen action beyond.
